The Goresbridge N.H/Point-to-Point Sale 2011 was held yesterday and consisted of Point-to-Pointers, National Hunt and Flat horses in training and out of training.

  • The top lot sold was a 3yo Milan gelding from Ballykenly Stud to D. Frisby for €9,200. He is out of the dam Russian Olive, who has 2 wins in Czech Republic and placed twice. He is from the family of Calico Lady who has 2 wins over hurdles and was Listed placed twice at Fairyhouse and Leopardstown.

 

  • C. Ross bought a 3yo Millenary gelding from Ballyknock Stables for €3,400. He is out of the mare Mrs Avery, who was a winner of a N.H. Flat Race and is an own sister Sister Superior (IRE) who is a Listed winner over hurdles and is also a dam of Scales, a winner of a N.H. Flat Race.
  • Dick Frisby paid €2,700 for a 4yo Dr Massini gelding from Hilltop Stables. He is out of the dam Tina Torus who is a dam of a 3 time chase winner Massini Man.
  • Shay Slevin got a Beneficial yearling colt from Culleen Farm for €2,600 who is out of the dam Latin Mistress and has 2 wins in N.H. Flat Races and is a dam of hurdles winner Wagga Wagga. He is also from the family of Listed winners Miss Nero and Amaretto Rose, who was also placed in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham. 
  • Liam Ryan purchased a 4yo Flemensfirth gelding out of the Strong Gale mare Rebecca´s Storm from Limestone Paddocks for 2,200. His is from the family of hurdle winner and listed placed Amber Brook (IRE).
  • William Neville paid 2,100 for a 4yo Morozov gelding out of the Over The River mare Riverfort, who is a winner over fences, from Michael O'Connor.
  • D. P. Constable bought a 3yo Whitmore´s Conn gelding who is out of the Charente River mare River Salts from Boleybeg Stud for 2,100. His dam is a winner over hurdles and has placed 4 times.
